Engineer - Cambridge

Job description


Our client is a leading company in the coffee industry, and they are seeking a Preventative Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding operations in the Cambridge.


Responsibilities and Duties

Self-sufficient management of spare parts stock holding in Service Van

Manage and supply timely paperwork, including full completion of service reports detailing accurately work carried out and spare parts used

Operator training (e.g. operation and cleaning of coffee equipment)

Share best practice and gained knowledge to colleagues and your Senior Engineer

Replacement of relevant water filters based upon water hardness test

Maintain correct calibration of equipment with respect to coffee quality and agreed customer standards

Attention should be paid to other components such as valves and associated components which may require descaling or replacing so as to avoid faults during or after the planned maintenance

Work in conjunction with the customer’s nominated boiler inspector when a PSSR Boiler Inspection is required (facilitation only)

Work through a specific regime of planned maintenance work in accordance with the manufacturer’s schedule over a range of coffee machines

Qualifications and Skills

Electrical Mechanical knowledge

Previous engineering experience

Electrical qualifications desirable but not essential

Right to Work in the UK
